Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone plans to bring Antoine Griezmann and Joao Felix together on the pitch.
Griezmann recently moved from Barcelona and returned to Atletico Madrid on loan. But many are concerned whether the arrival of the France international will affect Joao Felix’s development.
However, Simeone sees the two spearheads of different ages can play together. Even in the team now has Luis Suarez, the Uruguay striker as a main character in the front anyway.
Diego Simeone plans to bring Griezmann and Felix together on the pitch.
“The two can play together and when the time comes. They will be together in the field.”
“I have no doubt what we have in this good group of players and we need to be a team,” said El Cholo.
Griezmann isn’t enjoying the easiest start to his second spell at the club. And it may take him some time to win over all the fans, many of whom bitterly remember how he left the club for Barcelona. But Simeone when asked about that insisted on the need to come together.
“I have no doubt what we have a good group and we need to be a team,” said Simeone.
“Tomorrow we’ll aim to have a good match against one of the most in-form teams in the competition, who have competed and compete very well.
“They have a great coach who has gotten all of his teams playing the way he wants them to. High pressure, but they know how to drop deep too, high full backs. They play a very dynamic football, with a lot of pace…I’m sure they’ll compete until the end in LaLiga.”
