Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed. The Portuguese full-back Diogo Dalot benefited from a loan at Milan last season.

The Portuguese defender moves to San Siro on loan in October 2020.

He made 33 appearances for the Serie A giants, scoring two goals.

Although not much of a starter for Stefano Pioli’s side, he still played a key role in helping Milan finish in the top four.  That Qualified to play in the Champions League For the first time in 8 years.

Dalot has only played one game since returning to Old Trafford. But Solskjaer is set to give him more time in the future.

“Diogo had a very good summer. He was also summoned to play in the Euros. He has done well for the Portugal Under-21s. and has a season on loan Which has learned a lot from Milan,” said Solskjaer.

“He’s always fit. which is a big deal And he has the potential that we look at trying to do even more. Of course he has more experience as well.”

“We are not here just to let players go out every year. Last season’s loan season is an experience and time on the field for him. I think he’s doing well when he got to play”
